I have been a La Vergne resident since 1994. I live and own a business here in the city.
I have worked with the present and past Six (6) Mayors on different boards and committees.
Being part of the planning commission for 19 plus years I have seen the tremendous growth of the City and the financial impact and I feel I could be an asset to the City of La Vergne. I have drafted the re-write of numerous city ordinances for both Sub-division and Zoning regulations. |

2011 - Sept A member of the committee to interview & hire a new City Planner
Assisted the HR director and City Engineer to interview all the applicants and came up with the best applicant for the job. |

2011 - May Attended the ICSC in Las Vegas.
Was part of the City's team that traveled and attended the convention, answering questions from potential clients at the City's booth. In addition we had numerous on-site meetings with potential clients. |

2005 - June/July La Vergne representative for the Rutherford County Metro Study Committee. Manager of the financial sub-committee.
One of Two (2) members from La Vergne along with other appointed citizens from other cities & county to complete a full study into the possibility of consolidating governments in Rutherford=County. |

2001 - Jan/March La Vergne Citizens Police Academy.
Attended the twelve week class given by the LPD, learning how they perform their duties and Protect & Serve. The class included but was not limited to detailed information on such topics as uniformed patrol, special operations, criminal investigations, youth and criminal law. The Police department achieved their goal through an exchange of ideas & education. Also went on a police ride-along with an officer thru the city. |
